a CLASSIC for a reason i think

This was a reread but it counts bc I read it from start to finish and wow, yeah. Still my all-time favorite dramione fanfic. Hands down, this is the one to beat.

"I'm in love with you, Draco. How's that for a fallout?"

DNF 56% (Chapter 30). I read it before I started using goodreads but I found it on my old tablet so now I can finally mark it with exact dates. It was so freaking long. It was far from the longest fic that I had ever read but it felt really long. And depressing. I dig hurt/comfort, but there wasn't enough comfort to plough through that gloom. And it's written in present time which is almost always downside for me. I know it's considered Dramione classics, but I just can't make myself finish it.

tears, laughs, smiles, deep thinking and red cheeks (the smut is extraordinarily hot)… I loved everything about it, but the fact that it was a bit too much war and fighting for me

This fic *decimates* me every time I read it. It's so gut-wrenching and beautiful and aggravating. This story is made of vivid, angsty, broken, hopeful, magic. Words can't really capture how close this is to my heart. Thank you for writing, everythursday.
