it was supposed to give...but it did not give... what needed to be gave... to the highest of giving... the premise was so good but the excution....not so much

Love to read an inclusive and accessibility positive novel! So much fun!

2 stars for the friends (and diverse disability rep) and the friends alone

❝You're my raptor, Frankie.

this was a super cute and light read. i loved frankie's personality, a bomb of happiness and positivity, i loved her sense of humor. i really enjoyed jay character, he wasn’t at all disrespectful or offensive. i loved that the book doesn’t focus on seeing disability as a problem, on the contrary, it deals with it in a normal and real way. i admit that i was afraid that the book would be offensive, but on the contrary, it was very beautiful and cute, a book without a doubt very well done. i'm looking forward to reading about frankie's friends. and the smut OMG THE SMUT WAS SO FUCKING GOOOOD, i tell u guys, the cover is a sweet and beautiful lie bc everything inside is so spicy 🔥

Frankie Kenton, whose initials spell out F U C K! She was destined to be a Sexologist. Her Podcast shares information, advice, and support to all but specialises in those with disabilities and other issues.
She has been asked about Shibari by a listener and she won't pass along info on something she's not done herself so sets out to find someone who can show her the ropes (ahem, sorry for the pun).
Woodworker, rigger and Shibari master Jay is a friend of a friend and has all the requisites she needs. He is also a Lumbersexual and sparks Frankie's interest but he has made it clear that he's not into relationships and thinks Frankie is a habit he may develop a fondness for so he wants to friendzone her as soon as possible!
That lasts about 5 minutes before these two are learning all sorts of new things about each other!
Frankie and her friends and so positive in their outlook in life. They deal with a myriad of issues, some visible, some not. They will not be defined by their medical conditions and refuse to be pigeonholed. They are totally #friendsquadgoals!
Jay is a perfect mix of dominant and vulnerable. He shuns relationships because of one romantic entanglement that blew up in his face and years of abandonment while in foster care. I loved that he didn't so much as blink about Frankie's issues but he was still able to show that even those with no issues with disabilities can still put their foot in it occasionally with mistimes remarks.
Now for book 2.

Yes.

I enjoyed the book but I think the story would have benefited from a few more pages from time to time. Some things were not explained or got even talked about and it left me wondering. One or two words more would have answered everything and I would have been able to concentrate on the story more.
I really liked the way Frankie's disability and Flo's as well were built into the storyline.

3.5 ☆

This was a fun short book that dealt with some more serious topics but was mostly pretty sexy. :P

Super cute! I loved how this had minimal angst and was generally just a really sweet story.

I kissed her, and to my fucking horror found she didn't taste like sugar or spice.
She tasted like forever.
