Solid 3/5 🌟 <br /><br />Too much tell, not enough show. I felt like we were missing storytelling/dialogue moments between characters that could've added to the overall story. The big speech moment at the end was lackluster and kinda boring. Smut was... descriptive where other things weren't. <br /><br />The relationship was so-so at the start and okay by the end. Baxter's attraction had the history to back it up (Mr. Subscribed Lumberjack Fan), but Paxton was a jerk for no reason, and his opinion of Baxter quickly went annoying townie &gt;wow actual human being with feelings &gt; I'm in love with everything about him. I just didn't really like it, idk.

What does Fae Quin put in her books? Whatever it is, I want to inject it into my blood stream.
