Ultimately had a very difficult time reading this book, not for the author’s lack of skill or effort. I really appreciated how towards the end of the book, Talusan talks about transition (as all other aspects of their life and identity) as a choice she made of many possible choices. It’s a narrative of transition not often heard, and I’m thankful to have it!
