Faithful

To start with I was very excited to read Faithful and I'll just say that it was a huge disappointment. Definitely a very weak two star rating. I feel like there were too many character POVs for the chapters. I found myself having to go back to the beginning of a chapter on more than one occasion to see who was narrating a chapter. Everybody sounds the same. I swear the female characters love to get into arguments with girls and their own love interests at times. I feel like there is too much drama. Victoria was a little bitch just looking to cause trouble. The parents of the main characters have the speech patterns and cursing habits of a bunch of teenagers. Why doesn't each have there own vocabulary that can separate the twenty year olds from the forty/fifty year old parents? Some of the stuff Elizabeth Hayes says doesn't fit her as an adult character. She sounds like a teenager. Seriously, I would have left out Ellie and Jeff's mother all together. Why do we need to resolve every conflict between characters and present it all tied up with a pretty ribbon. She was a bitch in Wanted and I think she should been left that way. My biggest issue is the need for every couple to breed and multiply like rabbits. For Christ sakes they are in their early twenties. Why ruin their lives with children? Hell, the first brats aren't even a year old before Mommy's knocked up again in the case of Ellie and Ari. All the male characters are reduced to a bunch of whiny men who cry too much.
