Fallen Too Far
Reviews

"I had fallen too far. I was in love with Rush Finlay." SAME BLAIRE WOW. This book was HOT and SEXY and STEAMY We follow Blaire whose just lost her mother and sister as she goes to meet her father, who walked out on them five years ago, in Rosemary Beach. But instead she meets Rush who's her really hot stepbrother and learns that her father left and the town is filled with a BIG secret that changes pretty much everything she's ever known. As her and Rush attempt to fight their attraction, things spiral pretty out of control. I was expecting to give this book 4 stars originally just because Blaire was kind of frustrating and in the beginning I didn't really like Rush or their relationship and I didn't understand WHY she wouldn't just TALK TO HIM AND FIND OUT WHAT HES HIDING BEFORE THEY HAD SEX. God it was frustrating because I thought she was a little dumb when it came to him but then we got know Rush more and I was right there with her as she fell in love with him. "He wasn't what sent me running. He was what made me want to stay." And the writing. SO SO ADDICTING I was hooked. I couldn't put it down. I read it in a day and it was great and fun and I loved it! So even though I was frustrated, Abbi Glines was clearly doing something right because I couldn't stop reading!! The real world didn't exist. I was in Rosemary Beach and I had to know what would happen! I actually loved pretty much everyone in this book except her dad and Nan what a bitch! and I'm really excited for Grant and Woods story! I picked this up pretty randomly last night because I was really craving a fun light summer new adult book and DAMN. THIS BOOK WAS PERFECT. Especially for the summer! It takes place in a rich beach town and their house is on the beach which I loved. And I loved how Blaire was from Alabama and carried a gun! She was pretty awesome in that sense. She was tough and strong especially towards the end where we really got to see her grow. And oh man that ending... I SWEAR HALF THE TIME I READ THIS BOOK I WAS READY TO SCREAM BECAUSE WHAT WAS THE DAMN SECRET!!! It drove me crazy and I had insane theories running through my head but they were all WRONG The plot twist was unpredictable and I was so mind blown! Ahhhhhhhhh Then their was the HEARTBREAKING ENDING I understood Blaires choice but it was so sad! And she was so strong! I don't think I would have had it in me to do what she did.... But yes I'm excited for Never Too Far because we can't leave Rush and Blaire like that!!! "Everyone always say that love is enough. It wasn't. Not when your soul was shattered."

NO. I shouldn't be liking this. Wanted a quick read to boost my reading month and this just happened..

Though I don't endorse nor am a big fan of romantic fiction, can't wait for the sequel!

You can read more of my reviews here. I'm very torn right now :( There's one side of me that's like, "FIVE STARS.." and the other side picks out all the flaws of this book and gives it a three star. If you listen to Fangirling Ariella, she would say, "OMG.. THIS BOOK IS FRICKIN AWESOME.. SO MANY FEELS.. AHHH.. THEIR ROMANCE IS SO HOTT.. *fans herself* But you know what? I decided to go with the rational Ariella. Now first of all.. I LOVED this book. But this has many flaws I didn't realize until later on. I feel like Blaire and Rush have no relationship. They don't talk to each other that often and when they can actually tolerate each other, they're sucking each other's faces. So.. I think their whole relationship is based on this AH-MAZING sex that they have. Which isn't all that good.. They're no developments in the actual relationship. But if you can overlook that, they do have some pretty hot scenes in the book *fans self* But I actually value relationships in books and that just made me wanna shake both of them and tell them to have some valuable moments together. That won't stop me from reading book 2 though!!! Definitely recommend if you're into the more erotic books..

I stayed up all night just to finished this work. This book is so good!

Romance has never been my genre of choice. Until I was introduced to Rush Findlay.....Rush had me up all night. Now I sit with dark circles, strong coffee and a slight headache from lack of sleep. But oh my was it worth it!!!! If you enjoy a strong, alpha male character who also happens to also be of the badboy variety, Rush Findlay is for you! I was drawn to him from the very first meeting.... Blair Wynn is a 19 year old who recently lost her mother. She heads to Rosemary to stay with her Dad and his new family until she can get back on her feet. When she arrives, her father has taken off on a vacation....but Rush is there. And so it begins..... I'm not going to delve into the plot on this one. It's a fluff read plain and simple. My rating is purely based on the enjoyment factor. To me this book did everything a romance book should do. It created sexual tension...LOTS of it. It had me wanting the lead male....BADLY. It had me grinning ear-to-ear like a schoolgirl....the drama...the angst...oh my! Yep....I admit it. I have a new appreciation for romance novels. And I have a RUSH-CRUSH. As seen on: https://www.facebook.com/#!/LostInMyY...

I did enjoy this, but at times it was way too much like 50 Shades of Grey. More like 3.5 stars for me.

I feel kind of bad giving this 5 stars because it isn't anything extremly good, but I keep my level of fun in mind when I rate a book and reading this was so much fun. I started it this morning and would have probably finished it in one sitting if I didn't have to go to uni today. The fact that I even read a bit during my lecture (it was very boring) kinda says how addicting it is. This book was exactly the story I was looking for right now and I cant wait to read the next one! If you can enjoy a trashy story now and then this is definitely worth the read.

Alright how do I start this? I think the book was okay. It was very graphic, sexually speaking like I’ve read some of E.L James, Emma Chase books and there are sex scenes everywhere in them, but the way they wrote it more… erotic I think, even Colleen Hoover writes soft sex scene. Sarah J. Maas has talent to write a sort of hardcore sex scene that has you clenching your legs, because its all about the structure of the characters and the story… but this book uses pure raw sex words, and the dialogue comes off as if dumb people is speaking, they never spoke about anything productive. The main character is all in on making it “on her own”, and everything works out well for her, just because she’s so freaking hot that everybody wants her around, and she get a job the very first day that she’s starts looking for one. In a week space she already made a friend she going out with her, the love interest is already falling hard for her, and we see the typical millionaire hot guy telling the poor girl that they have to keep away from each other, and the girl wants him more even knowing that he’s a fuck boy. The only thing that salvages the story is the final where she finds out the whole secret that everybody knows but her, and Woods in the whole book, but other than that I would have felt as if I had wasted my time reading this book. (I sort of feel like that)

Falling too far is the fist book in the Too Far series written by Abby Glines. This series is part of even a longer series formed by companions called the Rosemarie beach series, which takes place in the same area. Abby Glines has become quite popular lately and I wanted to try and read this author. Blaire has recently lost her mother, who was the only relative she had. She moved all the way to Florida from Alabama in the look for her father, who abandoned her and her mother when she was a little kid. Her father has now married again and she arrives at the mansion where he now lives. Nonetheless, her dad isn’t there, moreover the mansion don’t belong to him or his wife but to his wife’s son, Rush. Rush allows Blaire to stay at the mansion until her father arrives; he gives her the service girl’s room. As the time passes the attraction between the two of them grows, even though there are things in Rush’s past that Blaire will not like. Falling Too Far was a compelling novel, the writing style kept me trapped from cover to cover. However there are several things I did not like about the story, starting with the cliché situation between a poor girl and a rich boy. But the thing that pissed me the most, and the main reason why I gave the book such a low rating is because instead of becoming stronger I felt Blair lost her strength. At the beginning of the book she is a badass while as she starts feeling attracted to Rush she turns into a weak person who didn’t even stand for herself. In addition to it, is the fact that the secret, the dark thing why Rush is all the time saying he isn’t good for Blaire, isn’t that bad neither dark. But a 2.5 don’t mean I hate the book, I didn’t even dislike it, I actually enjoyed the book but it wasn’t great either. I liked the writing style though, and that might be the main reason why I might be continuing with the series, or I will give other books from the author a try. Falling too Far was a weak book, it was compelling and well written, however, it wasn’t as good as I expected. I will recommended it if you are looking for a quick read.

Books like this are definitely one of my guilty pleasures. I'm almost embarrassed to admit I devoured this book in less than 24 hours. Great books with great characters and a good storyline. Can't wait to start reading the next one.

my heart oh god my heart.

2 1/2 ster. Maar het einde zorgt ervoor dat ik de volgende moet lezen.

4.5 stars!! I honestly did not expect to finish this as quickly as I did. Hell, I practically devoured this book! Abbi Glines has yet again written an amazing, unputdownable book! But. But... What the hell kind of ending was that???

Blog | Twitter | Instagram | DNF @ 30% I've been really trying to get into a lot of Abbi Glines' books. Some of have been really fun. Others, like Fallen Too Far or The Vincent Boys just haven't been for me. I had a lot of the same issues with this book as I did with TVB--it was a little too... filled with all the tropes from the genre that put me off. The fraction of Fallen Too Far that I did read just didn't connect with me. When starting a new series, when reading that first installment, there has to be something that makes you feel hooked and no matter how hard I tried with Fallen Too Far I just couldn't feel anything towards the story or characters. That being said, as always: my opinions are not the gospel. My reviews aren't law. I mean no harm in expressing them and admire author's for all that they do. Taste is subjective and just because something didn't fit my personal preference, doesn't mean it is A.) Bad or B.) Something you can't enjoy. Always, always give something a go if the synopsis feels like it's intriguing to your taste. That's all that matters in the end!
