Omg this book! There were so many twists I think I got whiplash! But man it’s the best whiplash I’ve ever had. I totally thought that this was gonna go one way and then it didn’t and then I was like WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Who am I rooting for here?! I legit had no idea what was going to come next in this story. It was so refreshing to break out of the normal romance routine and F*ck Marriage is no where near normal. It’s extraordinary, just like the love between Billie and Satcher.

Billie is the woman we all are in our heads but never really let out. She’s vindictive and petty but it’s only because she cares too much and gets hurt too often. She lashes out. I was cheering her along with every barb and sassy remark out of her mouth. Although I throughly enjoyed all of that I enjoyed her character growth even more. By the end she knows what she wants, she makes the decisions she knows she needs to and she gets her self straight. Meg Sylvan did an absolutely fantastic job with the narration. She was seamless. This is the first time I’ve listened to her and she’s jumped high on my list of female narrators. Meg sucks you in and makes you feel like she’s authentically the character. 

I am NOTORIOUS for loving overbearing alphas yet Satcher Gable has stolen my heart completely with his swagger and passion! He’s charming, hardworking, honest and really, everything you want in a man. Sure he has his drawbacks (mainly pining for his best friend’s girl) but he never over steps those moral boundaries. While Billie is constantly searching for herself, her happiness Satcher was there the whole time. Still living his life but never forgetting how much he’s always loved her whether he thought about it consciously or not. He loves every facet of Billie and gah, it gets ya right in the feels. Connor Crais is newer to the scene and is continuing to show us he’s here to stay. He was a perfect match for this character, making you chuckle when Satcher does and get choked up when emotions come out. He definitely knows how to use that smooth, husky tone of his that is sure to make you swoon. 

F*ck Marriage was an incredible ride of emotions that I was so ready to get to the finale of yet was left bereft when it was over! I fell in love with these characters and all their gritty flaws. I fell in love with their pain and uncertainty of the future. I fell in love with their love. When it comes down to it this story wasn’t about hating marriage, it was about finding who you should be married to. Not being bitter over a love lost and a couple grown apart but to find the HEA in the storm of change.

I actually freaking loved this book. It was a cliche romance (which I'm a sucker for) but it also kept you guessing. I was invested the whole time, genuinely having no idea how the story would end (though silently hoping). It was a page turner and I can't say more besides loving it so much.
