Rating: 3 Stars - Liked It Fearless (Dartmoor #1) by Lauren Gilley is a MC Romance that is 738 pages and extremely descriptive (furniture, rooms etc.). It is also so detailed on every character who are not important to the story (Restaurant owners etc.) I did enjoy a good amount of the details but I feel like about 200 pages less and still could of loved it more. Tons of unnecessary info could of been left out. There was so much I loved in this book. Had a an Age Gap Romance with a second chance, friends before lovers and a slow burn romance. Mercy was Ava and her mom security detail since she was 8 and he was 21. Nothing was ever uncomfortable or disgusting. He was her protector and became a part of their family. As she got in her later teens they formed a friendship. They did not start noticing each other till she was 17 and he was 30. They do not meet back up till she is 22 and he is 35. The best part I loved about Ava was she loved her family and being brought up in a MC world. . I totally fell in love with her mom Maggie and her dad Ghost, the President of Lean Dogs MC. Both play a huge part of the story. Her half brother Aidan and their parents added so much to the story. Had good amount of club business. Not dark or gritty and was still able to get into it. I am curious if something with Aidan will play out in the rest of the series.
