The premise of this book really grabbed me. It was unique, and exciting to try to figure out which sister (if either), was guilty of the crime, and why they would want to accuse each other. The fact that the author chose to present the story via multiple POV, including that of the killer (whose POV was simply labeled 'She'), was one of my favorite parts. I really enjoyed getting to see the inner workings of both legal teams prep for the double defendant trial, and how their strategies changed throughout the trial as well, while trying to line up clues from the 'She' chapters against what both lawyers experienced with their clients.

The twists are breakneck, I couldn't put this one down, I absolutely loved it.

for me this book was really boring. it inlay started to geht interesting at the end. it was to detailed. at the last 100 pages i didnt even care who was the killer.

Couldn’t put it down. One of those books where you can’t call it a night after reading a few chapters - you just want to know what happens!

This was an enjoyable read. I have found Steve Cavanagh is a great thriller writer. However this book managed to be both predictable and not predictable at the same time. I had a good idea what the outcome of the story would be but was very intrigued at the series of events which unfolded to get there

I love Eddie Flynn. I’m not a fan of legal thrillers in general - I get a bit bored if I can’t watch the pretty people rushing around in suits and high heels throwing paper at each other and chugging coffee like their lives depend on it. But boy do I love Eddie Flynn.

These books are easy to read, they explain everything you need to know, and the twists are fantastic. I was still guessing until the big reveal about how this book was going to end.

Thoroughly recommend this book to people looking to start in the legal thriller genre or thriller veterans looking for something a bit different. Even though Thirteen is not the start of the series, that’s the one I read first and I would recommend starting there.
