So truth be told when I started with trilogy, I rather regretted it. One, being that her writing was disastrously poor & two, I'm not one to start a book & not finish it. But as I went along, I got hooked onto the characters & their story. Now that I have finished the third book, I am sad that it ended. Alas, all good things must end & I am glad that it ended on a good note. I love how the characters have grown & how things were put to rest. Here's to more!

I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN!!!! This book well, how could people hate fifty shades??? 

There was so much action, drama, emotion and well of course sex! God knows how they will pack this much stuff into one movie in 2018 but wow I can't wait to see it! So much happens, the story line is great, the development character was brilliant! 

I borrowed from a friend but I think I might have to buy all three for myself and read them again at some point. Brilliant. I'm off to see the second film tonight (it's the 10/02/17) I loved both the second and third book,.. READ READ READ

Por fin doy por terminada es trilogía/saga, como quieran llamarla.
Sinceramente, el libro no me gustado, tiene "sus momentos" pero nada del otro mundo, cosas que puedes encontrar en cualquier rosa o romántico, cosas demasiado copiadas o basadas en el libro original, recordemos que esto es un Fic.
Más allá de la historia, quiero opinar sobre la manera en la que está escrita.
Una historia, por más simple que sea, mientras tenga una narración rica, sin caer en las mismas muletillas, una y otra vez. Exagerando las "palabras clave" del personaje, hace que cualquier historia te atrape.
La trilogía 50 shades es todo lo mismo: "Vaca sagrada" "Santa mierda jodida" "Sr/Sra Grey". Esto último se supone debe gustar, se supone también que es un juego de palabras cariñoso entre parejas, pero solo es exasperante.
En conclusión, unos libros que no son nada del otro mundo, solo mucho escándalo y nada de bueno.
Sado? pffff No.
Se pone rosa desde la mitad del primero, y la otra mitad que "si lo es", esta muy mal hecho.

This is the most annoying of the three books, in large part because the damn thing wraps up so happy at the end with a little deus ex machina and whathaveyou. If it's not abundantly clear that this was originally written as fanfiction for TWILIGHT of all things, you've got issues.

It was good overall. There has been a lot of development from the first book in terms of Ana and Christian's relationship. It's not by any means perfect but it was okay. It got more interesting towards the end with all the mysteries and betrayal. 
It was a good conclusion for an okay series.

Lo lei sobre todo porque tenia que completar la saga, saber como terminaba todo. El personaje de Christian me resulto siempre muy atractivo, pero a esta alturas de la historia ya no es lo que era. Al principio de la saga era entretenido todo el sexo, pero a esta altura ya era un poco exagerado, un párrafo de avance de historia, 3 contando detalles de Christian y Anastasia teniendo sexo, la verdad se me volvió cansino. De todas formas es entretenido. Para leerlo, recomiendo no perder de vista, que es una novela, una obra de ficción, no creo que la intención de la autora sea nada más que brindar entretenimiento y punto.

This was quite possibly the worst book of the Trilogy (not that the other two were much better)
but the entire time reading this/listening to it, I just got so damn angry. I have NEVER had a book or its characters make me so mad before..

Anastasia has absolutely NO backbone. she spends more than half the book getting walked all over by Christian who "~*loves*~" her... neither of those idiots know what love is, good god.
He gets so mad at her for stupid things, and doesn't listen to her pathetic attempts to somewhat (and I use this VERY VERY loosely) defend herself, but then she just takes all the blame, even though in the end her actions saved her life. He is controlling and emotionally abusive, and anyone who thinks this is an ideal relationship needs to be institutionalized. The only connection they have is a physical/sexual one, and there is absolutely no emotional or intellectual connection between the two of them ,so how this is a "love story" I will never know. She still knows next to nothing about this man, and neither of them know what love is. but of course she just naturally knows that he's "the one." 
This is worse than the stupid insta-love in YA books.

I can't even process the words properly to describe just how angry this book makes me. Quite possibly one of the most infuriating things I've ever experienced in my life.
and don't get me started on the word choice of the author. this was in no way, shape, or form a "sexy" book.

Not impressed with the third installment. Spoilers ahead. I give James credit for writing steamy sex scenes. They are incredibly difficult to write, and even harder not to cheese up. So on those, I applaud her. But this book. Oh man. It was plot device after plot device after plot device. So much so between this and the last half of book two, that they all bleed together. They get married, go on honeymoon, best friend gets engaged, helicopter nearly blowing up, house break in by ex sub, attempted break in by ex boss, ex sub shows up at Ana's work for NO REASON AT ALL, Ray nearly dies in a car accident, Mia gets kidnapped, Ana nearly dies, Ana gets pregnant, Christian goes crazy, two babies and an epilogue later, and suddenly we're transferred back to the beginning but from Christian's POV as a child and then as his adult self. Whew. I'm exhausted. 

I just can't stand plot devices. It's as if the book was slowing down, so she threw something else in to focus on for 20 pages....rinse and repeat. But hell, she wrote a book and got it published. Kudos to you, Ms. James. This series would have been best served to make book one slightly longer and putting the word "End" on the last page. But, the sex scenes were good, and that's why we all read it, right?

I finally get to check this series off my list. I didn't like it and I'm not sure how it made it to the movie theater. I don't condone Mr. Grey's behavior or the way he treats his significant other. I don't like how the book glorified the mental and relationship abuse throughout the entire series. For god sake how many times does Mr. Grey use the word "COME" like a command and Ms. Steel obeys like a lap dog...I mean are you kidding me! Ms. Steel with her "Oh MY"....do you have any other vocabulary words to use being from a english major. UGH...and HOW women even thought this book was a turn on is beyond my comprehension. I gotta go....

Fifty Shades Freed shows us the third and final installment to the much hyped about Fifty Shades of Grey series; bringing us to a close in the dramatic, dark and unrealistic relationship of Anastasia and Christian Grey. Fans of this series have longed for more smut, more romance and perhaps a variation of happily ever after for the two and will certainly get one but not without a lot of bumps along the way.

We were left in a a calm ending to the second book after the dramatic events of the previous installment, which was by far the series’ strongest addition. Where Fifty Shades of Grey lacked much in terms of entertainment and plot, Fifty Shades Darker made up for it. Freed shows us a middle ground between the first two books in term of intrigue and is neither boring nor thrilling for me.

We see a lot of plots tied up nicely and perhaps unrealistically as this whirlwind romance reaches its climax. Anastasia Steele has decided to marry her beloved Christian Grey, this much we already know, and the opening of Freed shows us a glimpse of the two on their honeymoon as well as sparks of their wedding. It felt very rushed and the time jumping in the narration at certain points of the start and finish felt awkward and difficult to stay focused on.
