I got an email from Harper Collins 360 and boy, I was excited when I saw the two books they wanted to send me. The cover for this story definitely had me interested right away and then I read the description, which continued to intrigue me. I think it definitely could have been shorter as there was a lot of information that seemed a bit unnecessary. While it did take me a minute to really get into this book, I definitely ended up wanting to know everything that was going to happen. It kept me questioning, and kept me both smiling and frowning. Without spoiling anything, but given the content warnings, my heart was sad at times from things I read, although it was written truly well. I love how this book expanded on how abuse can occur in different ways, it does not necessarily have to be physical. Overall, I really did enjoy this book and think any romantic reader would love it as well.
