Years ago, the skies ripped open and the world was destroyed in fire and ash. Dragons - once creatures of legend - are the enemy. Vicious and unpredictable, they rule the skies of the ruined cities, forcing humanity to huddle behind barricades for safety.Claudia's a survivor. She scrapes by as best as she can in a hard, dangerous world. When she runs afoul of the law, she's left as bait in dragon territory. She only has one chance to survive - to somehow 'tame' a dragon and get it to obey her.Except the dragon that finds her is as wild and brutal as any other...and he's not interested in obeying. What he is interested in is a mate.

Fire in His Blood

Just like Rapunzel from the fairy tales, dreamy, romantic Amy lives a hidden life. She's kept locked away in a tower for her own safety, with her sister as protector. Amy knows it's for her own good. If a dragon catches her scent, she'll be carried away and forced to become a drakoni's mate. But Amy has a secret - she desperately wants to be stolen. She would love to be rescued from her life of idleness and the thought of a devoted drakoni male charging in and saving her from her boredom sounds perfect to her. Of course, she wants a romantic, loving male who will adore her. What she gets is Rast. He's not kind. Not romantic. Definitely not gentle. But he is utterly and completely obsessed with Amy and he'll stop at nothing to make the delicate female his.

Amy and Rast are my first favourite couple in this series! I love Ruby Dixon's mind. Till now, none of the plot seems repetitive. Love the dragons 😍

Finally dove into some dragon romance, and really really enjoyed it. This book is fun, I loved Claudia. I wish Kael would have *spoken more*. I enjoyed the romance, and loved the spice. A really nice little read, if you are looking for a spicy dragon romance.

Fire In His Fury was such a short and sexy read and I had so much fun getting back to this series and this world that Dixon has created. What I have come to love about Ruby Dixon is how diverting her books are,. You know what you get with a Ruby Dixon, but I do feel like her writing is a great palette cleanser and a fun diversion. I love how consensual her books are even with the darker themes that she has in this series. I really do like dystopian romance and there really isn’t that much of it out there in the genre, so I have been enjoying indulging in this series. I have been wanting this story for quite a while, this heroine I have been itching for so long. What we have in this story is a heroine, Amy, who has been secluded and hidden away, she suffers from a injured leg but dreams of love and mating like what her sister has. I really loved her courage to do what it took to find her own dragon, and go after her own dream and to survive. Her mate is Rast who isn’t who she imagined for her mate, but as they get through their language barrier and learn each other, there is a beautiful love that is built between them. I really loved their journey and their way to finding their own nest and future. I really was saddened for Amy at times, because she has been so protected she hasn’t been allowed to really live a life. But with Rast, we really see how they fit so well together and we see that Rast has much more memory of his past than the others and we learn more about the dragons and what is bringing them to Earth. I was really fascinated in seeing these two and how well they balanced each other out. it also gives a teaser for our next pairing and I am eager to read it soon! If you are a fan of Ruby Dixon than I definitely recommend this series and this installment (these books are best read in order).

Fire in His Spirit

Fire In His Spirit was such a solid installment, it was a bit more confusing and the relationship was different than I was expecting, but it was still enjoyable and I had a fun time with the world building. The couples spends less time mind communicating than what we see in previous books, like it didn't happen until the very end and I felt like this got dragged out a bit too much. I did enjoy the overall serial plot and it was interesting that the hero kept forgetting things haha but I really enjoyed reading this one as a narration. These books are always so well done with the narrators that are chosen. I am very curious to see what will happen in future books in pertaining to the plot of the series as a whole. Its definitely getting more intense here and loved the mystery vibes behind this one.

Pretty interesting concept, very smutty and has a ton of cute moments. This is exactly what I expect out of Ruby Dixon novels.

There's only one way to tame a dragon.Emma Arroyo knows this. She also knows that the big golden dragon captured by her brother's biker gang is in trouble, and it's all her fault. He followed her scent, and now his life is in danger. She has to fix this, somehow. If she could talk to the dragon, they could form a plan to escape, both of them. But the dragon's mind is wild and full of uncontrollable, killing rage. There's no reasoning with him. There's certainly no freeing him, not when he's like this. But Emma can't leave without him. There's only one way to solve this problem - a mating. When Emma approaches Zohr to claim him as hers, she realizes just what it means to be a dragon's mate, and how much she's in over her head...And she learns how fiercely possessive a drakoni male can be.

Bloodlust and insanity rule my existence. As a fierce drakoni warrior, this strange new world I find myself in eats at my mind until there is nothing left. There is no light or clarity...until she arrives. I save her life, plucking her from the sky. From that point on, she is mine. But the human I have chosen for my mate - Sasha - is fragile and wounded. She does not trust me and fears my presence. I will not give up, though. I will do anything to give her my fires and bond us both in body and spirit. How can I convince her that I want nothing more than her happiness if she will not let me touch her?How does a dragon woo a human?

After reading this book I binged my way through most of this series! I love Dakh!❤️❤️❤️🥰 I want him to be my dragon! He’s so swoon worthy of a hero! He is the perfect example of an Alpha/Cinnamon Roll hero. Nobody does it better than author Ruby Dixon! She is definitely one of my favorite authors now. If you like aliens, dragons, post apocalyptic worlds and romance definitely check out this series and other books by this author. My only complaint about this series at times it can be kind of long winded. I still love this book to death and I want a dragon of my own who is hopelessly devoted to me!😍

In dangerous Fort Dallas, Rachel is untouchable. All she has to do is hand over her panties every day. Sure, it's weird, but it keeps her safe, right? And if there's a reason behind it, she doesn't care.Until she finds out that she's dragon bait. That changes things. To stay in the fort's sheltering walls, Rachel needs to 'befriend' a dragon and establish a mental connection with him. Drakoni male Jurik may be protective of her, and caring...but he's still a dragon, and just as lost to the madness as any of them. He can't be trusted. No dragon can. Rachel wears the scars from the last time she tangled with one, so seducing one seems absurd.Or...is it?Because Jurik doesn't see her scars...all he sees is her. Is he her worst nightmare?
