Podría leerme 80 libros de esa saga fácilmente, es así de adictiva. Pero para mi mala suerte, este es el ultimo y he de decir, que, lo disfruté mucho. Si que es verdad que en mi opinión todos los libros de esta saga se parecen en el dramón que se desarrolla y los pastelosos que pueden llegar a ser los romances de algunos personajes, pero son estos detalles y sobre todo los personajes tan maravillosos y reales que hacen esta saga muy especial y bonita. La familia que se crea, la jocosidad de todos cuando estan reunidos, la buena amistad, el romance sin toxicidad que la autora desarrolla, todo influye para que estos libros sean adictivos. 

Avery, Cam, Tes, Jase, Calla, Jack, Roxy, Reece, Steph, Nick, Abby y Colton, Jillian y Brock siempre me traerán bonitos recuerdos cuando piense en estos libros. Es una saga ligera, romántica, con drama y superación que recomiendo totalmente si te gustan este tipo de historias. Por no hablar de la pluma tan buena que tiene mi querida Jennifer .

Por cierto, NO PUEDO CREER que este sea el ultimo libro, NECESITO la historia de Katie, es el personaje más épico de la saga completa. La AMO.

But instead of handing him to the police, he took him in and showed him a better way and a home that he never imagined existed. Brock grew into a man of prestige and fame and money. Brock is a hero that you just love from the beginning. What I loved about him is how genuine and sincere he is will Jillian. He admits to his mistakes, and only wants to fix what he broke. He is quite successful, but what was most admirable about him was how humble he was. He could be a bit cocky at times, but in a way that draws you in.

Jillian, grew up in a very sheltered and protected home but when a strange boy became part of the family, she felt a instant connection. She always knew she loved Brock, she saw so many good things in him especially when he didn't see it himself. Jillian knows the ins and outs of her fathers business, she is innovative and creative and gets things done. She knows exactly what it takes to become accomplished. She was trained by her father. Her friendship with Brock was powerful but Jillian loved Brock from afar. He treated her like a little sister. Jillian is a heroine you can fully support. She is strong and courageous and loyal. But she can be stubborn but she is a fighter. She is a survivor and when you learn about all that she has gone through, you see what a trooper she really is.

    Plot and Story Line 
  
 
In Fire In You we have a story of unrequited love and best friends to lovers type of story. Now in the previous books, we saw hints of their relationship and I can't tell you how excited I was to be able to pick up this one. The moment it became available on Amazon, I one clicked it because that was how excited I was to pick this one up.  Now Brock and Jillian's story was heartbreaking in quite a few moments. It sets off with the present, where Jillian is trying to move on with her life. Starting a new job, have a double date but then she bumps into Brock on her date and yeah the past comes roaring back to life for Jillian. And then she learns that he is her new boss, not a happy camper our Jillian is. But she doesn't back down from a fight, or what she deserves. We do get some flashbacks from the past, so you can understand more about the depth of their relationship.

  
    From the moment your father brought him into the house, you were his little shadow. You thought the world of him at one point, and I know he still thinks that of you. So talking to him had to be more than okay. You were That friend to him, Jilly, and because of that, perhaps one day, you two will find your way back to each other
  

We see how their relationship was in the past. Jillian is one tough woman. She is still recovering from her attack, which she was lucky to live but she still bears the evidence on her face. I like that this author tackles tough subjects and characters that are flawed, make mistakes or suffer from traumas. And she wrote these characters so well. Both Brock and Jillian have painful pasts in different ways. But they have always had a connection since they were kids. I found it interesting the way she developed their relationship. Brock is a hero that you fall in love with because you see the way he wants to redeem the mistakes he made in the past. He is very determined and the ways he goes about winning Jillian over are pretty entertaining. Not a shy bone in his body that is for sure. But Jillian isn't easy to convince and I wanted to cheer when she makes him work for it because he does deserve it hehe The romance was poignant and sweet and gives you all the feels that you just want to scream, and cry and laugh with these characters as they stumble and fall and pick themselves up and we see how much they fit and are so compatible together. It's the type of romance that is vividly pictured and so compelling you never want it to end.

I swear JLA just gets better and better. It had me on the edge of my seat. Brock and Jillian just gave me so many feels and I'm so sad this series is over. But also happy I'm not reading this at school anymore.... because that cover got me a lot of weird looks.

So dang good. I love this series so much. Not to mention she is my favorite author. I remember reading about the characters in the earlier books and I was so excited when this one came out. The time lapse was crazy though. Such a amazing book!

The store was okay and I enjoyed the characters but there was no rise and fall to the plot. Normally there is an ending conflict for the characters that spans the last 30 or so pages but this book didn't. It made the ending feel less satisfying. That being said, it was nice to see so many characters form books past. Just wish the end was a little more exciting.

I gotta be honest, I'm feeling very sentimental as I sit down to write this review. I've been a fan of the Wait for You series since day one and I've laughed and cried my way through the series — sometimes reading the books even more than once — so it's a little hard to say goodbye to it now. But, it went out just the way it should've... with Jillian and Brock's story. It's one I've wanted for so very long and it couldn't be more perfectly timed. 

Jillian did not disappoint. I loved her. It made me happy that she was moving on from her past and trying to really live again. She was a strong, amazing heroine. I wanted her to be happy, no matter how that happiness came. Brock, on the other hand, I wasn't a HUGE fan of. (He did grow on me, though.) I held his past against him more than Jillian did. For someone who was supposed to be a friend, he treated her pretty shitty when they were younger. It wasn't that he didn't return her affections, it was just that he, um, behaved like a boy. So I tried not to hold that against him TOO much. I think a lot of guys his age spend more time thinking with ... other parts ... than with their brains or hearts. If Jillian could overlook it and move forward, I suppose its only right I do the same. 

Despite my initial reservations about Brock, I really liked him and Jillian together. I liked who Brock was with Jillian back in his life. I'm a total sucker for friends to lovers books, so it's really no surprise I enjoyed the two of them together. Their story felt real. I never doubted what was building between them. It didn't feel fake or forced. It was natural... like these two were coming home to each other after all that time apart. It was obvious how much they cared for each other, so swooned right along with Jillian. 

Fire in You was such a great book. I didn't want to put it down once I started. Jen's trademark humor and heart, as well as some steamy sexy times, made this one virtually unputdownable for me. I felt the feels and fell in love with the characters. I really can't ask for more than that! What a great end to a series that I loved so very much. I feel a series reread coming on... soon.
