Well shoot. This book drug out a far as the first book. But why do I wanna read the next one. I had how the books end on cliffhangers than get me to read the next book and then there I am disappointed for another 90% of the book. This book had a little more spicy but was still so slow to get to "the point". Had a bit more plot so I guess that's good. I will probably regret this but hello Book 3?

From the beginning, I knew I would like Jethro. He's not as hard as he pretends to be. We know he's waiting to inherit the entire estate, just to ruin it all. 

We also know he has feelings for Nila. He even goes easy on her during the first debt, which is a big no-no. 

He gives her the chance to run even, but if she can't find her way out she belongs to him. We all knew how that one was going to turn out. He wrote down marriage-like vows. He now owns her soul. 

Nila also thinks that this "Kite" she's been talking to is Jethro's younger brother, Kes. 

This book was such a great follow up for Debt Inheritance. I couldn't put the damn thing down. I love all of the characters. They are all so complex, even the characters who hardly have any scenes.
