This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance This review may contain spoilers, so fair warning, upon reading the review. This was the kind of girl that if you were smart, and played your cards right, you changed your life for. First Impressions Fly With Me is the first book in the Wild Aces series and I absolutely had a blast with this book. This was also my first Chanel Cleeton and I was charmed by this book. This is the series that drew me first to this author and I have had this series on my wishlist for years, especially since book three was released. It was everywhere and so many were loving that one, especially around the blogosphere. So I have been meaning to get around to it, but honestly, just kept forgetting about it. But then I saw that this first book was available at my local library app through Libby and I instantly grabbed it and I started to read it right away and I was so drawn into the story immediately. This is a story I would term as a military contemporary romance. It’s not romantic suspense or anything, just a military hero finding love in a long-distance relationship that starts off as a fling. There was a sense of realism to this story and I felt a connection to their pair and seeing them work through towards their HEA. I really feel like those that have been in a relationship or married to a military man, will relate strongly to this story. We flew because we fucking loved it. So I guessed I already had a wife, and she was an expensive, unforgiving bitch— Fortysomething million dollars of alloy, fuel, and lube that could fuck you over at any given time and felt so good when you were inside her that she always kept you coming back for more. Summary Jordan Callahan run a clothing boutique, but during a bachelorette party in Las Vegas, she never expects to run into cocky fighter pilot Noah Miller who will change her life in ways she doesn’t expect. U.S. Air Force fighter pilot Noah Miller, is drawn to Jordan at a party while with his boys, and knows that he will be spending the weekend and more if he can with this sexy charming woman. At first, Jordan and Noah take a short time and take advantage of the attraction that they have for each other, but then realize that a fling is not enough for them, that there is much more happening between them than just the sexual chemistry and they want to try for more even knowing that it will be a long-distance relationship that they will be having to deal with. But the way that their lives are running in different directions proves to really push the limits of their relationship, and they both have to work at making the distance work for their relationship and allowing for the difference in careers in their lives to find a balance in the love that they are building with each other. But for Jordan, her love for Noah is new and fresh, but will be tested in ways she doesn’t expect, and that her strength will be what Noah will need more than anything she could have imagined… I didn’t want a caveman, but I wanted a man who knew who he was, and wasn’t afraid to be it. What I Loved This book…..BROKE MY HEART!! I had no idea that this would have my emotions all over the place and it really meant something special to me as I have a soft spot for military romance. Normally I don’t do the fling trope, it just doesn’t always seem to quite work for me always but in this one, it really tended to work so well. I think much of that was due to the fact that there is so much more to their connection than sex in the beginning, I really enjoyed the built-up of the emotional bond that seems to grow with their sexual chemistry. You can see how much individually they really care for each other, and seeing them willing to take on a long-distance relationship was so interesting but had a sense of realism to it. There is plenty of humor in this book and I adored seeing the bond of friendship that the male pilots have with each other, and if you are fans of “Top Gun” there are LOTS of movie references, and interesting how I read this the book the new movie came out (pure coincidence I tell ya) I really was charmed by the heroine who was willing to explore what she had with Noah even knowing the rough road ahead of her. I really respected her spunk and courage to go forward and give what Noah needed. I really felt like the level of emotion was well played out and felt like it was well balanced with the story. But I would warn readers of the ending that is entailed in this book, its very heartbreaking (Spoiler:……involves the death of one of the friends so be aware of that going into it if that is something that may trigger you) We really see how Jordan gets a realistic view of what being with a military man is like the risks of being with him, and how he will depend on her to be the strength in the relationship and seeing how her love for him is so fierce and deep that she is willing to do whatever it takes to fight for him just was breathtaking! And it’s moments like this that remind me why romance is MY genre. I’m sorry my hands are tied. I’m sorry being with me means giving up everything. I’m sorry I’m in the military. I’m sorry I can’t put you first. I’m sorry you deserve better than what I can give you. I’m sorry I’m too selfish to let you go. Still, there are two kinds of military wives. The ones who lean on their men, and the ones who are strong enough to give their men somewhere to lean when they come home after a six-month deployment that has beaten them down What I Struggled With There wasn’t much, I think what kept this from a five-star read for me was the pacing, and maybe my mood was off. Because I was really into it at first, but I got distractions and then the pacing was a little off for me but the last 1/3 I literally couldn’t put down!! Overall View I found Fly With Me to be a stimulating romance that rocked my core of brilliant humor, deep relatable emotion, and connections that fed my romantic heart and this author stunned me with this book and you can bet I will be reading the next installment shortly…. I didn’t care. I was in. All in. When it was love, capital letters, can’t-live-without-you love, there wasn’t much of a choice. We were forever, for however long forever lasted. Trigger Warnings: (view spoiler)[ death of a loved one (hide spoiler)]

This review was originally posted on Latte Nights Reviews. I hadn't heard of this series or author until Berkley sent me a package with the first and third book. I was so excited for it since I love novels where guys are military or related to it, in this case, Air Force. There's not much to say about this novel. While I did like it, it didn't leave an impression like the other two books in the series. I was far more interested in the secondary characters than Noah and Jordan. Their relationship felt...fake to me. They were making all these decisions that weren't believable to their romance. Plus, it was mostly all physical between them, except Noah. He's the one that would carry most of the conversations, talking about his life in the Air Force, which I admit was great to learn about. Out of the two of them, Noah had more depth and was more developed. Now, their chemistry was something else. It was fireworks everywhere! I did like how they tried to make their long distance relationship work. And I loved how Noah was so beyond respectful not only with his friends and everybody he came across, but with Jordan as well. He was so patient with her, too. Love was scary enough. Loving a military man was something else entirely. The secondary characters were the best, in my opinion, and I was so glad I binged through the series because I couldn't wait to know their stories. They were so engaging, loving, funny, and like a family. I loved how they welcomed Jordan with open arms and took her in. I loved their dynamics as coworkers and as tight friends and family. Overall, Fly with Me is a passionate and fun story, with its very sexy scenes that will leave you wanting more. Plus, the secondary characters will have you wanting to read the rest of the series. I received a finished copy from the publisher for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This review was originally posted on Latte Nights Reviews.

I finally made time to reread this book and I’m thrilled I did. I loved it just as much the second time around. Noah and Jordan gave me all the feels. And speaking of feels, I was just as destroyed by the other happenings the second time around. Damn, I love this book. —— Find this review and more at kimberlyfaye reads. This book. My God, I loved it. I don't even know if I have words to describe just how much I loved it. It's been a long time since a book made me feel as much, as strongly, as this one did. I've loved each and every one of Chanel's books in one way or another, but this one is truly something special. This series is special. I want all of my romance-loving friends to read it. So you should get on that. Noah and Jordan blew my mind. When they met in a Vegas club, they were only supposed to be a one-night hook up. (Or, at the most, a one-weekend hook up.) They were from different places, wanted different things. They couldn't ever really be. Yet, as they spent those first days together, they realized they couldn't give each other up. Which is good, because I couldn't give them up either. These two were just about the perfect pair, in spite of – or maybe because of – their differences. I adored them. From their amusing banter to the hot AF sexy times to the very real feels that grew unexpectedly, quickly – I just couldn't get enough of them together, even when things got kind of bumpy. There's just so much more to Fly With Me than romance, though admittedly the romance was one of my favorite parts. (Noah and Jordan. <3 <3 <3) It's about service and friendships and loss. It's about finding yourself and your passion, and realizing that sometimes you have to compromise to keep that person you love in your life. It's about the strength it takes not only to be in the military, but the more understated (and just as important) strength it takes to love someone in the military. It's real and raw and not always pretty. And it punched me in the feels more than once. It was sad at times, but it was also beautiful in others. These characters left a mark on me and it's one that won't go away anytime soon. (I mean, I'm teary-eyed just looking over my favorite quotes and writing this review.) Do yourself a favor and pick this book up. If you're an emotional reader, you'll want some tissues and maybe wine or ice cream. If you're not an emotional reader, you will still enjoy the romance, characters and sexy times. This book truly has something for everyone. (And the second book, which isn't out until July but that I thankfully had an early review copy of, is every bit as good.) I received a copy of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. FAVORITE QUOTES This was a one-night stand. Maybe if things went well, two nights. His touch was supposed to make me come. Instead, it unraveled me until I was quivering each time his flesh grazed mine. I drank his sighs as though they were water and I was dying of thirst, wanting, needing to take each part of his body into mine. "I never want to stop touching you. It feels wrong to be near you and not touch you. My hands turn greedy around you. So fucking greedy. I can't get enough. There are too many places on your body that I want to touch, kiss, lick, fuck." It felt like forever, and at the same time, like the blink of an eye. There were no words, nothing but the joining of our bodies speaking a frenzied beat. And then she was coming, and I was coming, and our bodies collapsed in a heap on the bed, and I knew without question that she had ruined me for all other women. When it was love, capital letters, can't-live-without-you love, there wasn't much of a choice. We were forever, for however long forever lasted. Like so many monumental days, the reality of it was like a photograph with blurred edges. It would come back to me in pieces, flashed I would remember for the rest of my life.

Originally posted at Booklovers For Life 4.5 STARS Y’all, I loved this book SO. MUCH. I’m actually surprised by how much I adored this. Military romances are usually a hit or miss for me, but Fly With Me is without a doubt a winner. I loved how honest Chanel Cleeton portrayed this military relationship – my heart was completely invested in Jordan and Noah’s romance. Gah, there were so many feels too! If you love military romances or romances that wring out all your emotions, I can’t recommend Fly With Me enough! Noah and Jordan meet by chance at Vegas, and let me tell you, the chemistry between them SIZZLES. This book is off-the-charts HOT! But what starts as a fling turns into so much more as they get to know each other better and their connection deepens. But with the two of them leaving Vegas to separate parts of the country, and add in Noah’s job in the military, how can a relationship work between them? “I don’t know what we’re doing here. Every time I have to say good-bye to you, it feels like I’m being sliced in half.” His expression darkened. “Loving you fucking hurts.” I adored Jordan and Noah. I’ll admit, it took me a little while to warm up to them in the beginning of the book, but once they started getting serious about a relationship, I absolutely loved them. Jordan is a kickass heroine – she’s real, relatable, fun, honest. She’s the kind of girl I’d love to hang out with. As for the hero – I love me some men in uniform, and you can’t get any better than a sexy fighter pilot for the Air Force. Noah lives and breathes flying, but being with Jordan makes him realize that there might just be something he could love more than planes. He’s an alpha hero with an amazing heart – AND he’s not afraid to love! You don’t know how much I appreciated reading about a hero who wants to go all in in a relationship. Just… SWOON! When it was love, capital letters, can’t-live-without-you love, there wasn’t much of a choice. We were forever, for however long forever lasted. Jordan and Noah’s relationship is not easy, far from it. It’s the hardest thing they’ll ever do, but every separation and every deployment is worth it in the end when they can be together. They’ll learn to make sacrifices for each other, to compromise for their relationship, because the payoff – love – is something they can’t live without. Chanel Cleeton has written a beautiful love story in Fly With Me. It’s honest, raw, real… and I couldn’t have imagined a better ending for the main characters. I loved this book! And I loved the secondary characters, Noah’s friends Thor and Easy. I’ve already read Thor’s book, and just saying, the series only gets better because I loved it even more than Fly With Me! I’m dying for Easy’s book now, but it won’t be out until 2017 *wipes tear*. The Wild Aces series is seriously a must-read – everyone needs to add it to their shelves!
