Goddamit, i didn't expect this book to hit so hard. But this is gooood.

This is going to be a very short review: Was I entertained? Yes, I was. Will I remember anything of this book in the very near future? … which book?

A steamy romance novel with a dip in the dark romance genre (it felt like testing the water temperature with not even my big toe, but one of the smaller, more insignificant ones), following around our FMC und MMC in very confined space and time frames. If you are looking for a quick read, which romance part takes off pretty early on leading to well written spice, this might work very well for you. The Dual POV is the cherry on top. Follow also does not leap into the “if a slightly darker romance novel doesn’t include these kinks” kind of pit but focuses on a less frequently portrayed kink which was a nice surprise. It is not as overdone as some of the others.

I’m not a fan (understatement of the year) of third act breakups or non-communication tropes, but it was bearable here.

Concluding: a fun read with well written spice as diverting entertainment? Do it, pick it up. Expecting the love story of a century or the darkest, dirtiest smut you’ve ever read? Probably rather move along.

Where there is a Will ...

Theresa and Will are fire, pure fire! Follow had me reading well past my bedtime and for me to sacrifice sleep ... you know I like it. 



This book just grabs and doesn’t let go. Theresa and Will just fit but too bad their relationship is based on a lie but is it? 

The is a dual POV stand alone. The hero, Will, is a great filthy talker. He will have you saying, “Yes, Daddy!”



If you are a fan of Harper Sloan, Sylvia Day, EL James, Diana Palmer, vintage Linda Howard and the like then this book is for you. 

Enjoy the ride and “Follow” Will, Theresa, and Southpaw to their HEA. This book is a quick and easy read. A great palate cleanser after a heavy read.

Ok this one started off kind of slow for me, but once I was hooked - that was it! Solid 4 stars. 

Tessa Bailey is one of my fav romances authors for 2 important reasons:

1. She is the dirty talk QUEEEN. The flirting, the banter - all of it is always so well done. And what can I say about her spicy scenes? Far too often she has me clutching my pearls, but I love her for that hahaha. 

2. The love interests she writes are truly, truly some of the best I’ve read.

Will was obviously a man who was written by a woman and I loved him. He was incredibly sweet, respectful, and ooof, had just the right amount of bad boy in him. Please, I died at how he indulged Teresa in her fantasy of being bought for sex, but then IN THE MIDDLE OF IT, he stops to reassure her that he respects her and knows that it is just her kink and that when it’s over, he’s going to open her door for her and pull her chair out for her. I mean, come on??

Also, the whole subplot with Will’s dog, Southpaw??? Definitely pulled at my heartstrings. I loved how he was included into the story. 

The romance? Heartwarming. Beautiful. Loved it. 
The spice? Perf. 
The plot? Lots of tension and suspense at times. I liked it!


All in all, I’d recommend. Def a quick read too.

There were some things going on here that I wasn’t the biggest fan of: insta love, the whole “I’m keeping something from you and then right before I tell you you will probably find out anyway” trope, weird wording (I don’t like when they saying “fucking their mouth” when talking about kissing.)

But other than all that, it was quick and smutty and fun and some good tension. I love the dog and he brought the most emotion out of me while reading.

Well, I think my face is still on fire despite having finished this audio book a couple of days ago. I do believe Follow by Tessa Bailey is the sexiest book I've ever listened to in my entire life. *Fans self*

Theresa, aspiring film maker and protective sister, makes a deal with a devil to save her brother Nicky from a life of crime. Her job? Convince mob boss Silas's sexy son Will to return to New York. 

After learning the father he barely knew is a criminal and that his beloved Great Dane Southpaw is dying all on the same day, Will ditched everything to take Southpaw and his Chevelle on the road trip of a lifetime. 

When Will finds a topless Theresa in his hotel room, he is immediately suspicious something isn't quite right about the story she's telling him. But, both Theresa and Will find they are dangerously attracted to each other, secrets be damned.

Theresa refuses to sleep with Will, but agrees to join his adventure. Theresa needs to get him to NYC, Will wants Theresa to be his, and Theresa's starting to slowly but surely fall under his spell. But Theresa knows, the longer she lies to Will, the more likely it is she'll wreck not just him, but her when she turns him over to Silas.

The dance between these two is so utterly delicious. Phew. I hesitate to call this a slow-burn because there is a lot of sexy times, but you are made to wait a long time for many things and there are some quite creative intimate moments. Will and Theresa are into a certain type of role play which isn't necessarily for me, but hey whatever. I also appreciated Will being an absolute alpha, but also one who seeks consent, constantly. He is never gross like many other tortured alpha's I've read.

 There is enough angst here to make you squirm, and the HEA is hard won, but this is an epic road trip I urge you to take on.

I did find some of the lines to be super cheesy and groan-inducing and the ultimate wrap up of the secrets being revealed is a bit hasty, but overall I'd definitely read this again.

You know those Instagrams of gorgeous men who document their road trips with their dogs? Well, imagine a romance story for one of those men, and you have the wonder that is Follow. Of course, only Tessa Bailey could write about a hero who Instagrams his road trip with his dying dog and make it as fun and sexy and intense as this book is. If you know me, then you know I adore anything and everything Tessa writes – she has yet to disappoint, because I enjoyed Follow SO much. It gave off a vibe that reminded me a bit of her earlier works, like the Line of Duty series (which I LOVE). If you love dirty-talking alpha heroes and the heroines who knock them off their feet, then I highly recommend Follow (and every other Tessa Bailey book)!

“I might take you to fancy hotels, baby. Might walk you through those elegant lobbies and demand you be treated like a queen.” He drops forward, bending down to lick a path between my breasts, up and down. Teresa Valentini is an enigma of a woman, but she’s a woman he has to have.

The hard part is being patient while she figures it out.

Teresa’s baby brother has landed himself into trouble with the one and only mob boss of New York, so she does what any good older sister would do and try to bargain for his safety. She’s tasked with getting the mob boss’s son back to New York in any way possible, including false pretenses. But the mob boss’s son, Will, is a man who loves his dog, can dirty talk like a mofo, and knows what he wants out of life – i.e., her – and is willing to do anything to have it. She can’t stop herself from falling head over heels for him, but can they have a real relationship when everything between them is based off a lie?

Follow is a fantastically sexy romance I devoured in a few short hours. Tessa Bailey is the kind of author I drop everything to read, because she never lets me down! This newest release is chock-full of the dirty talk she is known for – Will’s dirty talk is scorching. But besides the fiery chemistry, I really did enjoy the characters and story – it’s intense, exciting, and had me on the edge of my seat. If you’ve ever wanted a romance about a gorgeous guy who Instagrams about his cross-country adventures with his dog, you need Follow in your life!
