i've been anticipating isabel's book for so long and it was so worth the wait!! THE ANGST AND TENSION WAS MWAHHH!!! i love this so very much! i wish there was more!!! of isabel and aiden!! more of the ward family!!! i don't want to leave this family

Forbidden by Karla Sorensen Ward Sisters Book 4 ★★★★★ Isabel Ward is the manager of a gym and her boss had to sell. She went to this gym for a long time before she started as a manager so this gym is very special to her. She was so nervous that the new owner is going to come in and redo everything she loves. What she wasn’t expecting was a former fighter, not just that but the man she spent years crushing over. We are talking doodles in journals and poster size pictures hanging on her walls. Aiden Hennessy tragically lost his wife due to cancer. This led him to leave behind his career in fighting and led him to being a single dad. Before passing away his wife left their confused daughter a list of what to look for in a “new mom”. Isabel is none of these things so Aiden thinks she is all wrong. I enjoyed reading Isabel having to get past the mental road block of thinking her fantasy can become reality. She also needed to learn to get over her mom leaving her and the anger that surrounded her loss. Her and Aiden are similar in the ways they expel anger so they can help each other in that respect by sparring. plus, major turn on for each other. Aiden enjoys how much of a spit fire Isabel can be and watching her help his daughter. That is one of my favorite parts of a single dad romance is reading how the women learns to become a mom to a child who lost theirs. This is one of those feel good, happy reads. I love how much Aiden payed attention to her at the beginning and it forced her to start paying attention to him.
i can't help but get teary eyed at all the ward family moments but i think i bawled the hardest at the part where anya found out about aiden and isabela
