Find this review and more at kimberlyfaye reads . I'm going to be honest: I have no idea how to write this review without being spoilerish, so it will be short and sweet. I was so sad to let go of these characters and this story – and I truly hope the author continues writing about the secondary characters in the future – but I can totally live with the way Forever wrapped things up for Rose and Noah, one of my favorite bookish couples. "Sometimes it feels like we're going to wait forever to begin our lives together." Rose and Noah's relationship has been full of ups and downs. Sometimes it seemed like everyone was against them. It was no different in this book. Again I found myself wanting to shake my favorite characters for their lack of communication at times. I'm going to use the excuse that they were young. They didn't know any better. They really weren't fully equipped to deal with their relationship and it's challenges – and challengers – and they had to learn as they went along. In the end, they figured it out and both of them had matured and come fully into their own. They recognized the error of their ways and made things right... as did some of the secondary characters. "Life is too short to keep making dumb mistakes. I'm ready to marry you and start our family. It doesn't matter which world we live in as long as we're together. I know that now." Forever was a story of true love and passion, loss, healing and compromise. I did get more than a little emotional while reading this book. On a plane. I had to do some really fast blinking and hope no one was paying attention. It was a fitting end to the series – and I was left smiling, but I wish we could have had just a little bit more at the end. I feel like there's more story left there and I would love to see where the author would take them. But, if such a thing never happens, I'll just craft the future of these characters in my own mind and I guarantee it will be a happy one for all. I received a copy of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. All quotes come from the review copy and may differ from the final version.
