Reread this in 2022 not knowing I'd already read this before. Not really something I would recommend for people who are just getting into minimalism—whether out of curiosity or self improvement, it's more preachy than helpful to me. I appreciated the three sections: philosophy, streamline, and room by room but what I did not appreciate is that while it's not terribly long it felt draining to read. The word choice was questionable, and while there were some points that I agreed with, I really didn't like that I had to read through a lot of 'stuffing' just to get to the main point.
