In this utopian novel about a mythical land called Bensalem, the inhabitants live happily with sciences and with generosity and enlightenment, dignity and splendor, piety and public spirit. These were the ideal qualities which Bacon wanted to see in 17th century England.

i read half of it but Bacon's writing is hurting my brain so that'll have to do.

the premise of this story is very interesting but i simply cannot deal with the writing any longer so i'll just look up some essays instead lol.
