Multiple sclerosis, in spite of being one of the commonest neurological diseases, is of unknown aetiology and its diagnosis is often doubtful. This volume is based on a symposium held at Charing Cross Hospital (1986) and looks at the immunological, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of the disease.
