The Pirates of the Brig Cyprus

This book tells of how the brig Cyprus was taken over by mutinous convicts as she sailed off the south-east coast of Van Diemen's Land in 1829 and of what happened to those who were involved. It has been based on documentary evidence and the authors have disentangled the truth, from the many contradictory accounts, of an event about which most of the protagonists were only too keen to tell lies to save their own skins.
