'Fifty Shades Freed' As Told by Christian

50 Shades... Indeed. I know this series is not liked by all (and I do agree that it buts BDSM in a bad light) but this series makes me feel nostalgic. It pushed me into reading romance and I'll always be grateful for that. 

This last instalment, Freed from Christians POV, was good. I enjoyed seeing it all from his perspective but it is girthy and honestly could have been shaven down a bit, so to speak. However, I do enjoy long reads. I'd probably had enjoyed it more if I hadn't already known what was going to happen - guess that's the downside of reading the same book but from a different POV. One knows what's to come in broad terms. Still, it kept me fascinated and EL James does write well; simply but well and I rather enjoy her phrasing. 

I'm glad to have read this entire series, from Anastasia's and Christians POV, and feel rather content with where they ended up and how things turned out so kudos on that and I do recommend reading this series IF you keep in mind it's ONLY fiction (and do your research if you are curious, as always).

At first the story drifted slowly together, but as usual E L James captured Christian's emotions perfectly in the coming chapters. 

The behind scene revelations of his dark thoughts of how he perceived himself explains his need to alienate himself away from others and the need to control every single thing or person as well.

The only draw back in the book for me would be the in depth explanations for all his business dealings, besides that, it's still worth curling up to read with and enjoying until finished!
