A Marvellous Light

This was a cute, breezy fantasy thriller/romance! Adorable MCs with a really lovely opposites-attract slow-burn romance arc that had me sighing so happily at the end 😍. I’d recommend this book more for the romance than for anything else. The world-building was inventive & complex, which was lovely until it started to feel too complex. The plot easy enough to follow, but bc I didn’t fully understand the stakes, tied in as it was with the magical world, it was a bit hard to understand the villains’ motivations. So yeah, come for the romance bc sweet Edwin and sunny Robin are going to steal your heart!
