The story of Amy and Bev felt very, real. Too real, possibly. I see it happening around me, and I alternately smile or grimace. I love the way this book tackles adulthood, health, and of course friendship. Some of the little point-in-time references are a little dorky, and yidster had me cringing so hard, but I've also been there- doing that kind of Ughhh work. This book is an easy read, but some of the themes and scenes will stick with you.
