The first book in the Court of Sin series, Song of Night, follows Vale, a 700-year-old fae prince, and Devi, a young half breed who will help him fight for their court. This world follows the traditional seelie and unseelie courts of fae while also introducing god like aliens and other mythical creatures. When the overking’s soldiers attack the unseelie court that Vale and Devi belong to, they must find a way to protect it. 
	Pros: 
•	Interesting premise- So far, I am intrigued about the relationship between Vale and Devi, the world building, and the plot. 
•	Fast pace- I read this book extremely quickly and it was exactly what I was looking for while simultaneously reading lots of heavy and politically complex books. 

Cons: 
•	Action- Most of this book seemed to be a buildup for the events of the last few chapters. I’m not complaining about it, but I felt like I just started the actual plot of the book. 
•	No spice so far 

I’m giving Song of Night 3/5 stars. While the fast pace and world building have kept me interested, I’m waiting for the plot to thicken a little more and for the relationship between Devi and Vale to become much more serious.
