Short story/long epilogue for Benson’s All the Little Moments - 9 months later, the family is celebrating Toby’s 2nd Birthday. It opens with Lane telling Anna that she lost Toby in the store... 
Reminds me of when a friend/co-worker took his 2 kids to the mall to shop for their Mom’s present. His kids were about the same ages as Ella & Toby. He lost his little son in a store - Keith said he panicked & started running up & down the aisles looking for him with his daughter right behind him. She asked “Daddy why are we running?” “I’m looking for your brother!” “Daddy! stop! He’s right behind us!” His son was following right behind them. Giggling, thinking they were playing a game. When he told us the story - I couldn’t stop laughing. Keith however (like Lane) was still traumatized. Needless to say - he never took them the mall again. I still laugh about it.
