I gave this dumpster fire one FULL star only because it was less than 200 pages. Now, for the cons. 

The entirety of this book seems to have been written by a frat boy in his early 20s—the most detailed descriptions we get about the fmc talk about her pornstar lips and an ass that just won’t quit (yes, that’s from HER POV too). 

Shrek, sorry, Beck is a cannibalistic ogre who falls head over heals for his big breasted beauty when he finds her unconscious in his trap…one she happened upon after sneaking away from her bachelorette party…in a florida swamp….why tf is this set in FLORIDAAAAAAA??!!!!!!???? 

The author glazes past Beck’s feelings about homeless people being worthless scum and makes him out to be good by saying he’s never eating a child or woman (swoon). And the rest is just bonkers. Fast forward deeper into this mess and we get very lackluster, copy and paste “love” scenes that happen way too fast for anyone with Fiona’s, sorry, Liona’s mindset.

Oh, and let’s not forget the cringe-worthy incestuous side plot between Liona’s SIL and fiancé! Bc what’s a good romance book without a little brotherly-sisterly love <3!!! Don’t worry though, the author does a great job of giving you a heads up about this in the content warning beforehand, though she does seem to leave out the very graphic SA scene that sent me in a full blown panic attack bc it mimicked my own experience almost to a T ! But who cares about that, bc she told us there would be incest !

And to top it all off, the author inserts HERSELF into the book….pen name and all….for what reason? i have no clue. There’s a reason this book is banned on amazon, not sold anywhere else, and only available via her patreon now. My fault for wanting to giggle. Not a giggle was had this day.
