I didn't enjoy this as much as I expected to, since I liked the first one. Maybe I was just not in the place to read it. However, I found the characters to be not engaging, the dialogue too long and pointless, and the author spent a lot of time rehashing the Harry Potter books. I understand that some reminder of the original books is necessary for a spinoff series but this was just too much. I just felt bored and it took a lot of energy to keep reading. Not sure I will be continuing.
