Sing Me to Sleep is an interesting story, and again Burton has done a magnificent job at building the world of Keirdre. I found the story somewhat predictable, and Saoirse’s impulses seemed somewhat obnoxious at times. I can’t wait to read the second book.

This was such a fun YA stand-alone! I loved the slow burn romance and the angst. The grumpy/sunshine dynamic was very reminiscent of Princess Tiana and Naveen to me. I love that we have a broody female mc and the world is interesting.
Definitely recommend! I want more books like this with black female main characters and a full POC cast.

such a good debut novel!!! Will be picking up the next one. 
This book has fae, witches, sirens, morally grey main female character + a swoon worthy prince; and they’re all amazing. The world building and colonization was written so well it was so easy to get lost in.
