I am in love with Gena Showalter and all of her works, and she did not prove me wrong in my love of her in this book!

While I am very saddened to say this series is over, I am thrilled to say this book was by far the best in the series! My book store accidentally sold this book to me a little early (and by a little, I mean two weeks early, but like I care), so I was able to read it before it was spoiled for me online (like her first two novels in this series).

And man, am I blown away! Gena has an amazing talent for keeping you interested and hooked at each chapter, but not leaving you on a horrible cliff hanger waiting for what might happen. I still was unable to put the book down, and found myself wandering back to it when I probably shouldn't have!

This book follows Ali, Cole and the gang for one last adventure, and it will not let you down! I truly hope everybody picks up this series! Usually, I find the last book in the series to be incredibly boring, slow, or just rush to the action, but this book was perfectly timed, had a great amount of action, and still included character development that I did not expect.

This book by far is my favorite read this year! It rivals with some of my other favorite novels in my top ten! 

"We're all mad here" is the slogan for this book, and I am mad with anticipation as I wait for the next novel (whether it be adult or young adult) by Gena! Her talent is continuing to grow and I cannot put her books down! 

This series, I believe should be left perfectly as it is. No more sequels or spin offs. She wrote this series perfectly, and anybody who enjoys a good dystopian young adult novel with a splash of romance, blood, zombies and humour should pick it up!

I am on the Gena Showalter fan train and I don't believe I will be getting off anytime soon!

It tugged on my heartstrings. That is for sure. I felt like the ending was very well done. Was there a few things I wish hadn't have happened? Yes. But without those things, the ending just wouldn't have been as well done. It wouldn't have satisfied me as it had.

i was so happy to see some characters get karma in this “finale” but the synopsis for the actual finale says it’s all undone …. and for what? i don’t want to see the villains of this series have fun while 2/3 of the only likable characters are now dead because of them

Continues to impress

Another awesome addition to the series. I like that I never know what will happen next. There is a lot of loss in this book. It's life. Most of it seems like it is making the story fall into place. There are sections of this book that I wish we got a better look at. Maybe more description of what Ali is going through and a glimpse of what happens with the slayers while she is gone. How Justin was received by the group. Just small things. 

I like the direction the series has taken and I've grown attached to many of the characters.
