This was a great story. Parts I didn't like but in the end I was almost in tears.

Stars: 3.5/5 Project Cain was definitely an interesting read. The story is centralized around Jeff Jacobson,a boy who finds out that he is one of the clones made from the DNA of Jeffrey Dahmer. One day, Jeff's adoptive father tells him that he is part of a top secret government project whose sole purpose is to make clones of famous serial killers in order to create the perfect weapons. Jeff can't believe what he is hearing and his father soon takes off. Later, an agent named Castillo is sent to track down all of the clones and Jeff's father. Castillo comes across Jeff who is recruited to help track down the clones and make sense of his father's notes. The story follows these two characters as they attempt to save the clones adopted out to several American families and they eventually try to bring down the entire organization. Overall, the story delves into the idea that if what you come from truly determines who or what you will become. I loved the fresh and new idea the author created and can't wait to read Cain's Blood.
