Silas Marner is a wholesome story, with a nice and simple plot. The book doesn't have a whole pile of action, but is a good read nonetheless.

The simplicity of the story is what attracted me most, such a light read it was to brighten my mood, with lovely characters that I learned a lot from. I got attached to certain characters in the village, it is a shame that I had to part and leave them behind. It brought back all those Jane Austen’s novels’ vibes in a charming way. I won’t give the plot out but if you’re a fan of Austen, you should give a try. You’ll definitely love it!
