It's incredible how GRRM can come up with so many characters with different characteristics in the same world. I wasn't aware about Dunk and Egg novellas until I found this book. It's a very short and sweet read. A nice change, considering the other books set in the World of Westeros.

What amazes me in George R.R. Martin's works is the consistency of the characters - flaws and qualities. Even in 80 pages he manages to succeed in creating lively and realistic personas that stay with you after you closed the book.
