I've read all of this author's other books available on amazon, and loved them all. So it seemed a given that i'd like this one too, even though the introduction didn't reel me in. The author showed her great skill at character development in this book. Though,the antagonistic chemistry which was hot, didn't lead to anything but a slow, late starting romance. So don't expect much hot and steamy in this book. Another note, Gill McKnight does an amazing job of injecting humor into her books, but despite other reviews saying this book was lol funny, it had only marginal humor compared to some of her other books. 

I recommend this book and very much enjoyed reading it, but you should know that this book isn't going to be her strongest work in the humor department, and you also shouldn't expect a blistering romance and hot sex. (proof that Gill can write a good story without falling back on humor and sex alone) This book's strength lies in the story of the quirky mortician that sees ghosts. And it's the most pleasant, heartwarming ghost story i've read.
