Approaches to Comedy in German Drama

The aim of this book is to adopt a holistic method in order to explore the question of comedy as narrative and dramatic structure in a selection of contemporary German language dramas. This book also seeks to suggest some of the ways in which comedy does in fact have a significant role to play in ther German theatre of the late 20th twentieth century.
