Not only do we learn about prehistoric ceramics as we dig in the New Mexico dirt with Ren - but we get to see ghosts that are never scooby dooed. She's not so young and maybe a little bit crazy and she's falling in love. If only her dead brother would leave her alone and those damn songs would quit running through her head. 

I loved meeting the smart, witty author too. (she lives right across the street from me and came to talk to our book group). I want to read her first book.
