Dratch! Very interesting to hear the story of what happened to her at “30 Rock,” and also very nice to learn that her post-SNL life has been pleasant and lived with integrity. I had no idea about the details of the second half of the story, but it’s as uplifting as it is unexpected.

Rachel Dratch has always been one of my role models. Growing up a shy little introvert, I always admired women who were funny and not afraid to embarrass themselves if needed, yet still overall badasses. 

I loved her book! I listened to her Audio version and loved all her stories! She kept it serious but you can hear the laughs she's fighting back on stories close to her heart. I almost have to remind myself that I don't really know her.

My mom used to wonder what happened to the former cast members of SNL. She bought this book and then made me read it (well listen to it as an audio-book). I'm glad she did. 
This book is somewhat of a memoir for Rachel Dratch and it was awesome. She explains how she got started in the comedy business, how SNL really works, what happened with 30 Rock, the acting gigs she's generally offered (fat lesbian?) and where her life is now. 
If you are a fan of SNL, Rachel Dratch, or hilarious memoirs, I highly recommend this book. Also, if you have a chance, I suggest listening to it. Rachel narrates the book which made it even more funny.
