This is my second book by Fox. I really didn't like her Tuscany book (I generously gave it 3 stars) so I've been reluctant to read any others. I'm glad I decided to give this a try. Only problem - I knew this was a series, but I didn't realize it was up to 6 with more to come! I'm glad they are Kindle Unlimited, otherwise it would be cost prohibitive. I'm in the middle of #3. BTW the author says they don't end on cliffhanger - that doesn't mean you are not compelled to read the next!

My only major negative - I hate the covers. The Font/titles are well done but I really dislike the two women on the covers - their cheesy poses and the models seem wrong. For one, the younger looks like a teen glammed up (Claire is 25) and that is a real turn off for me. I understand independent authors don't have the budgets for covers, but still if it hadn't been for friends rave reviews, I wouldn't consider reading them.
