As an animal lover I loved this book. As someone who has faced raising a puppy from start to there all to soon last days this book touched me with how funny and real it was. We only have our four legged friends for so long and we do everything we can to accommodate them into our busy lives and coming home to our excited dogs after a long day of work makes life all the better. I'd recommend this book to anyone and I don't just me the Marly and me lovers but literally anyone. Gizelle's bucket list isn't just about a dog's life it's about a girl finding herself in her early twenty's and how she handles a new big city, her faithful dog, her mom's addiction problems, and everyday problems like friends, jobs, and boyfriends.
