An amazing finish to the series ! I fell in love with the characters over and over again and such a good plot twist with her father ! Plus being a fan of supernatural the show helped

The best book of the series by a lot. I've complained about how slow the previous books were and how I had wished the secondary characters were given more personality, and in this book JLA delivered. Finished it in 2 days, and enjoyed every moment of it.

This series was FUN. That’s the first word that pops up in my mind when I think of the HARBINGER books. I cannot pick a favorite, which is a rarity when reading a series. Jennifer L. Armentrout kept the same high level from beginning to end.

GRACE AND GLORY is a great end the series. The plot and writing style were high paced and I flew through the book. We have different focus points in the first and the second half. This way the story never dragged.

Armentrout has a great sense of humor too. Most characters are really funny. I laughed out loud multiple times. Even though most of them aren’t human, their silly thoughts and funny conversations made me connect to them easily. Bonus points for that!

The only character that annoyed me a bit was Zayne. All character arcs were interesting and well developed, and I liked Zayne in the first two books, but after the big life-changing event for him and the people close to him, his personality changed. There was a good reason for it, but it did still make me like him less than before. 

That’s why I don’t give this book the full 5 stars and end up with 4.5!

Deze series was FUN. Dat is het eerste woord dat in me opkomt als ik aan de HARBINGER boeken denk. Ik kan geen favoriet kiezen, wat een zeldzaamheid is bij het lezen van series. Jennifer L. Armentrout hield hetzelfde hoge niveau aan van begin tot einde.

GRACE AND GLORY is een geweldig einde van de serie. Het plot en de schrijfstijl hadden een hoog tempo en ik vloog door het boek heen. Er is een verschillende focus op gebeurtenissen in het eerste en tweede deel. Hierdoor sleepte het verhaal nooit aan.

De personages zijn interessant. Ik las nog nooit eerder een boek met waterspuwers, engelen en duivels. Nu wil ik meer! Deze serie is een spin-off van de DARK ELEMENTS serie, maar ik perfect apart te lezen, zoals ik deed. Nu ben ik echter erg benieuwd geworden naar de voorgaande serie!
Daarnaast heeft Armentrout een fantastisch gevoel voor humor. De meeste personages waren erg grappig. Ik heb meermaals hardop moeten lachen. Ook al zijn de meeste personages niet menselijk, door hun gekke, dagdagelijkse gedachten en grappige conversaties, connecteerde als lezer gemakkelijk met hen. Bonuspunten!

Het enige karakter waaraan ik me wat ergerde, was Zayne. Alle karakterbogen waren interessant en goed ontwikkeld, en ik vond Zayne ook leuk in de eerste twee boeken, maar na de grote levensveranderende gebeurtenis (no spoilers) voor hem en de mensen (wezens?) dicht bij hem, was zijn persoonlijkheid veranderd. Daar was een goede reden voor, maar ik vond hem er niet leuker om. 

Hierdoor geef ik het boek niet de 5 volle sterren, maar toch een welverdiende 4.5!

Just sitting here crying bc I finished the last book in the series. No more Trinity, Zayne, Roth, Layla, or Bambi. :(

I was so worried about what was going to happen in this book bc of the cliffhanger we had been left with. However, I'm 100% satisfied with how things worked out. Forever in love with this spinoff trilogy. Thank you Jennifer for creating these amazing characters, creatures, and world.

I’m sad Zayne and Trinity’s story is (kind of?) over but it was a great ending. I loved Zayne in this one and the twist with Peanut was so unexpected to me at least I definitely shed a few tears.

After what I consider to be a bad second book, I was stunned when I finished this one. I loved it. I still don’t really mind Trinity, but I loved Zayne in the first half part of the book. I didn’t love him, but I still liked him for the second half. It was too fast on certain parts, ones I consider pretty important though, and sometimes it felt like I was running through the book. I don’t want to say much, since it would be a gigantic spoiler, but this book was really good.

A solid conclusion to another JLA series. I will say that going back to her YA writing was a bit hard as it is pretty different from her NA writing, but I still enjoyed this conclusion.

anyway this made me feel worthless for having a chronic illness (especially for a ya that you know … probably shouldn’t spend 400 pages saying there’s only one way to be worthy which ends up in young readers getting into abusive relationships and believing they should enjoy it bc of this preachy and presumptuous trope!!) but what’s new

this book pass by faster than i thought it will and all I can say is that I enjoy every second of it! Im kinda sad that this trilogy is done but at the same time JLA give it a really good ending and I can't wait to see what's going to come next with her books

           The dialog between all these characters had me legitimately laughing out loud MANY times. I so loved all the different character interaction. Trinity reminded me a lot of myself in the ADHD standpoint, so that was fun to have a character to relate to in terms of a "weird brain". 

The book was a little chaotic in terms of plot, but all in all I enjoyed the writing and the HEA. I'm so sad I'm done with all of these characters now.

After losing the battle and her boyfriend/Protector, it seems like all hope is lost for Trinity Morrow. It doesn't matter how many Wardens or demons she has on her side, there's no way for her to go up against the dreaded Harbinger and survive. There's only one option left: if you want to stop a fallen angel, you need a fallen angel. Trinity knows that bringing Lucifer back to Earth is the farthest from a good idea, but she's desperate and willing to do anything to save those she loves. And when Zayne returns changed, he and Trinity must learn to trust one another again and believe in their bond if they hope to stop the looming apocalypse. 

This was... yikes. For the most part, I've enjoyed this series but the issues I've had with the other two were rampant throughout this one. I've always said that I find JLA's writing style to be a little cringy and I don't always love her choice of phrasing, and there were times while reading where I had to stop because it was so over-the-top and ridiculous. I mean, it was CW teen drama level out there. There were also so many pop culture references, which would be fine if they weren't repeatedly shoved down your throat. I didn't feel the same connection with the characters as I did in the past and even found them annoying at points. The only thing that really saved this one for me was the ending and that took forever to get to. Truly, the first 70-80 percent of this book felt like filler and once you got to the big climax, everything was wrapped up so quickly. Unfortunately, for what was supposed to be the final installment of this series, it was a bit lackluster.

I'm glad to have finish this series because in the grand scheme of things, the plot twist at the end of book 2 was intriguing. Ultimately, I think the series over all is a 3 stars to me because I never emotionally connected to Trinity or Zayne, but I am satisfied with the way the story wrapped up for them.

Have you ever just been *so* pleased with a series finale that you just stare at the book a second after you shut it? That’s how I felt at the end of Zayne and Trinity’s story. 

The cliffhanger in Rage & Ruin was A W F U L but this book picks up right where that one ended, so that helped. But that does not mean everything was fixed and good. I think I was in a low simmer panic for the first.....150 pages? 😅 ah hahaha yikes. 

I think this might be one of my top fave JLA series, honestly. I love the characters and the magical realism; I love Trinity’s sarcasm and inability to filter what she says. I absolutely loved the plot twists and surprises in this one because, believe me, there are SEVERAL. It was a *chef’s kiss* ending to a series. 10/10 recommend.

I didn’t think I could love this series any more than I already do, but WOW. This was my favorite book of the trilogy.

Seriously, ZAYNE. Zayne is on fire in this book. That pool scene!?! *whew* I was not prepared.

Really, I loved this book. After what Jennifer did to us at the end of Rage and Ruin (my emotions!), this was the conclusion I needed! There is so much to love in this book, but the angsty romance between Trinity and Zayne is really where it’s at. I was on the edge of my seat multiple times over Zayne and what Trinity had to decide. I also loved the soft moments with them so much in this. 

The pacing was fantastic and there were so many twists I was not expecting, nor prepared for! I love how all of the major characters from this trilogy and The Dark Elements played important roles in the story and got lots of page time. I want to say so much, but all of the great things about this book are spoilery, so I’ll just say: read this series!

I’m also more than a little intrigued about Lucifer 🤔 Spin off series in the future??? 😬 pls
