When I read Savannah's words I can hear her say them in my head. I can hear her feel them. Poetry has always been something I admired but rarely something I could really understand and fully relate to. This is different because I feel like it reflects so many things that are new, that are right now. I love every single poem in here but some I like especially much. Those are:
real estate, after, too quiet, Moles don't think about space or small talk, graffiti, i do not like the feeling (this one probably is my favorite) and words of gods.

It's very nostalgic in the sense that most of the poems are self reflective and capture the teenage phase of not understanding oneself while being so uncertain of the future. Its clear that even as a teenager, Brown was well read; here she displays clever ways of structuring her writing which I'm confident she'll hone to an even greater degree in her future work. Overall, sweet and innocent, but endearing nonetheless. Definitely glad I read it and definitely recommend it!
