Catching Lightning

This book really just shows that I’m missing sports romances but especially books that are little darker. The concept of the book was so interesting and had me hooked from the very beginning. The stories and backgrounds for the characters were good too. It felt like it had a lot of little things from books I’ve already read and tied it all together in one. What I loved was that it was fast-paced but I can see how some people will say it’s jumpy. It could have had 50 more pages to add a little bit more to it so that everything was flush together and everyone could like it. 

The only reason I would say my rating came down was there were a few cringy parts but not so much it killed the book for me. I also wouldn’t say this is a complete enemies to lovers as well. I know so may not like a certain part but for me I understood it because of her character and it made sense. 

This is making me so excited to read more of these type of books. Especially the guy who is obsessed with the girl. It been a while and I’m so excited for it and this one really teased me with  it only adding to my excitement!
