I can't believe it's over and what a whirlwind! I am glad Bianca and James got their happy ending. I felt the final chapter in their story touched on every emotion with me. 

James loooved some Bianca. Just sayin. He also had me wanting to V8 slap him up side his head. I know he is protective but dude take it down a notch. 

Of course after reading Grounded I am ready to read the spinoffs. 

A great read but I did some parts to be somewhat run on hence the 4.5 stars.

Wow, what a heart-stopping conclusion to a fantastic series! Even though there were a few things I didn't like in this one, it was overall a sweet,sexy, romantic, surprising, heart-wrenching, and breathtaking conclusion. Grounded, is by far the best novel in the series! 

Grounded picks up in this installment with Bianca no longer able to deny her feelings for James, for even though it wasn't her intention she's fallen in love with him. As James and Bianca feel a growing need for each other, circumstances of the past have a way of appearing when you least expect it...James' past and Bianca's future are very much trying to tear these two apart.

She's also the girl who in this final installment, is trying to move on from her past and let James into her heart completely... for her father is still out there and could kill her at any moment...

James is by far one of my favorite book heroes. We were introduced to James "Mr. Beautiful" Cavendish in the first two installments in this series and I've found myself falling in love with him a little bit more each novel. The love that James has for Bianca is so precious, so unheard of today that you can't help but be envious. Bianca is the most important person in the world to him, and I LOVED reading about his love for her. Their love is intense, passionate, sexy, romantic, tender, compassionate, kinky, and so full of love it made me want a James Cavendish of my own. 


  
    "There hadn't been a second since I’d met her that I felt as though I’d taken her for granted. I’d loved her, I’d treasured her, I’d coveted her, and adored every inch of her, but it still didn't feel like it had been enough. I’d misstepped with her, I’d screwed up plenty, but we’d been working through it all. Life could have been perfect. All we’d needed was more time…"
  


In addition to the envy-worthy love of James and Bianca, I was also envious of the love + friendship between Bianca and Stephan. Stephan was an amazing character to get to know over the course of this series. His love and friendship of Bianca was awe-inspiring, and I now want a novella of him and Bianca as teenagers together. Their bond was beautiful and I soaked up every second of their interactions. I also loved how Stephan had a couple of chapters in his POV and seeing some flashbacks to when they first met.

He was matchmaking, trying to bring two stubborn souls closer; two people who he was afraid were incapable of doing it themselves.

I just knew that you had seen bad things, lived bad things, and from the start, I knew that you could understand pain. Understand loneliness and despair. Understand feeling hopeless and helpless and alone. I fell in love with your eyes first because I looked into their depths and saw the other half of my soul.”

His fingers snaked between my legs, fingering me. “Wanna fuck until we both pass out cold?” he asked with a grin.

“I love you, Bianca,” he said very quietly. “There isn’t a thing about you that I don’t adore. Even the things that have made it hard for you to let me in hold a special place in my heart. I never thought I’d meet a woman that I couldn’t doubt, a person that I could so easily give my trust to, but I know your soul, and it is so pure and clear to me that I feel like I can see right into it.

“I feel like life was easy before I met you, because it didn’t matter,” he said in a rough voice, leaning into my hand. “Nothing mattered before I knew you. I was a pretender, playing at life with monopoly money. I didn’t feel anything. Nothing ever really changed because I just I didn’t care. And now that it does matter—now that everything matters, it’s so much harder, because things have weight now, and my life has substance. You can hurt a thing with substance. I’ve become vulnerable, where nothing could have hurt me before. My mistakes, even my past ones, will have consequences now.”

Even though this fantastic series wasn't perfect it was still amazing and I don't think I'll be forgetting it anytime soon. The well-rounded cast of characters and the possessive dominant James make this unforgettable story a must read for any 50 Shades of Grey fans!
