Unfortunately, the prose of this very short story was so descriptive I lost track of the main thread multiple times. As such, I found it hard to wrap my head around and might have to revisit it in the future. The Call of Cthulhu was a story I enjoyed far more than this short piece, and as such comparing his work to each other, I cannot give this higher then 2 stars
