Ever since he saw the legendary player known as the "Little Giant" compete at the national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has been aiming to be the best volleyball player ever! He decides to join the team at the high school the Little Giant went to-and then surpass him. Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump higher than anyone else? After losing his first and last volleyball match against Tobio Kageyama, the King of the Court, Shoyo Hinata swears to become his rival after graduating middle school. But what happens when the guy who is supposed to be his rival ends up being his teammate?!

Truly a guidebook for life. ❤️ People should read it at least once in their life time. My favourite characters are Oikawa and Kita. I relate to them so much.

Appreciate the use of honorifics! They don't in the anime subtitles which comes off as goofy to me (plus the anime has some typos from time to time). Good translation effort here!

Ok so I have been staring and dropping a bunch of manga series, and I think I'll be keeping this one. The anime has not been completed yet and there are a few gag chapters so I might continue this manga. I loved all of the characters, especially Hinata and Kageyama! The storytelling was hilarious and I'm already interested in seeing how far the team will go.

I've been living for Tanaka, I haven't read Shonen is a long time. So I'm not sure if is for all of them, but damn they have so much dialog. 😆 I'm so used to Shoujo manga speaking to me through their images and heartfelt monologues, either way I enjoyed all about this volume. Another thing that had me laughing was in every single panel Kageyama is in he has an angry face all the time; you can use expressions like "Surprised angry" "excited angry" I 💙 love Kageyama.
