But thankfully once the heroine knocked out the hero it got soooooooooo much better. I ended up loving this book. The heroine was great (although I do still think at times she seemed younger than she was) but I really enjoyed her as a character anyway. (loved the scene at the petrol station were she sees her Ex and gets a little revenge) The hero was adorably hot and sweet. All in it was a fun, dirty hot at times read with enjoyable likeable characters. Will absolutely be checking out this author more!

1.5 stars. So, months down the line and I reduced my rating from 2 stars to 1 to account for a half star as I round down now not up. I picked this up because of the following; * Mary gets accidentally knocked out by Jimmy at a gym. That is how they meet. How uniquely funny is that? * Jimmy shops at Costco and has a soft spot for Pinterest ie he is a down-to-earth guy, not a gazillionaire type (even if he may have millions to his name) * A toddler shows up (little kids in romance books are my jam) * Frankie Knuckles!!! I mean come on, who can resist that name for a dog? (pets in romance books are also my jam) and was really looking forward to all the humor it professed to spring towards me. And it did, but it also was so full of sex that it left little room for plot. Now don't get me wrong, I like some smexy scenes, but it has to have a lot of character and plot too. Hence the low rating.
