Thank you to Raw Dog Screaming Press & Erin for getting this book in my hands in exchange for an honest review! As with most collections, Halloween Season has some hits & it also has some misses. But, to be fair, the misses aren't horrible -- they're just forgettable. Not all stories in this collection are Halloween-related (as it would seem), and this book can be enjoyed at just about any time of the year. All of the stories are diverse in theme & some are so out of left-field, you really will not be expecting it. I loved Lucy A. Snyder's writing style & have a huge appreciation for her creative mind. -- that's really all I have to say about Halloween Season. My top three favorite stories in Halloween Season: - "Cosmic Cola" - "In the Family" (this one is so good & v. Becca-like when it comes to the fiction I enjoy) - "The House that Couldn't Clean Itself" (this one is so ridiculous, I'm here for a good time)
