Happily Ever After: Companion to the Selection Series
Reviews

I finally read Happily Ever After! Back in 8th grade I read the main trilogy but lately I reread those books and decided to see where the others ended up! I have to say it was a solid 4/5 stars, as it was exactly what I wanted but also predicted. Loved it nonetheless!

It was pretty good but I think the actual series is better even tho this gives u insight into characters

Some parts were good, some were dull, some were just ok

You know how sometimes books leave you with a feeling of something not finished? This made it all right. Perfect. Thanks Kiera Cass

Nunca puedo tener suficiente de esta historia. Me sorprende hasta a mí misma cuanto me he (y lo digo literalmente) obsesionado con ella. Me encanta.

I love seeing the different prospectives of a situation

4.5, but the whole series is definitely 5 stars!

I loved this book! It's just so cool to get other characters point of views on situations other than America's. I loved Amberly's perspective and learning about her selection process. I still really want a Selection novel from Maxon's POV!

Umm... I loved it but it was just very different being in other people's perspectives. I would still read it though.

He disfrutado mucho conociendo nuevas perspectivas, y me he quedado con ganas de conocer más, conocer cómo fueron algunos momentos desde el punto de vista de otros personajes.

I'd always wondered what happened to Celeste.

LITERALLY THE BEST BOOK EVER. I AM DEAD. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. IT WAS SO WELL WRITTEN AND EVERYTHING TIED TOGETHER SPLENDIDLY. I LOVE THIS BOOK AND I WILL RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYBODY. I love you Kiera Cass.

I breezed through this book a week ago but unfortunately I forgot to post a review 😅 imo this is the perfect fill in if you miss the series and it was nice to see different perspectives on the story. Also, I don’t want to spoil anything but there are some surprises 😉 All in all, this one tied the whole series in a big knot and ends it with exactly that, a happily ever after. Rating: 4/5

2.5/5☆

** spoiler alert ** Okay, so from the stories, Amberly’s is really good, you get to know more of the loved queen, and how she and Clarkson fall in love. The prince is my favourite one, sad that it was so short I would love to have the full saga from the pov of Maxon. The guard, I’m really not a fan of Aspen when he’s after America... His character is really great, loyal and sweet, but to be honest, him and America are just not a couple I would ship. And The favourite is amazing, finally knowing how Marlee felt and what she was thinking... I recommend this book completely, really loved it !

Cute, love the backstories

** spoiler alert ** It had all of the Novellas in it, a bonus epilogue, "Where are they nows", and a section from Celeste's point of view. I loved having everything in one place, well I also just really love Kiera Cass' writing. Merged review: It was very lovely to see how Aspen and Lucy's love story blossomed.

I absolutely loved this series of novellas and short stories! I loved getting an inside view on Maxon and Aspen and I loved reading about Amberly's Selection. Gives a bit more background to a story and world I love. Also, the epilogue to The One was to die for! America and Maxon are so adorable!

This was ok, but unnecessary. Might have liked it more if I read it inmidiatly after The Selection triology.

Disclaimer: I bought this on my own accord! Yay me! All opinions are my own. Rating: 5/5 Publication Date: October 13, 2015 Genre: YA Romance Recommended Age: 14+ (romance, cute moments, the selection ending) Publisher: HarperTeen Pages: 416 Amazon Link Synopsis: The contents of Happily Ever After are as follows: -The Prince (with the two bonus chapters), Maxon’s novella -The Guard, Aspen’s novella -The Queen, Amberly’s novella -The Favorite, Marlee’s novella -Three scenes from Celeste’s POV -Lucy’s scene (bonus scene from The One) -The bonus epilogue -Where are they now? -A map -Various illustrations Review: I’m so so sad to see the end of The Selection series. Like bawling! I loved the extras Kiera included. It really added depth to all of the side characters and I’d love to read more about them. Also there were pictures!!! Like omg! I do feel that the book could have done better at Aspen’s story, I feel that it was a bit abrupt. I also feel that Lucy didn’t get enough attention. But maybe we’ll eventually see a TV series or another book! Verdict: I miss this series!

I loved this book because it provided pov’s from all the different characters including Maxon who I was really excited for.

Loved this collection of novellas! Gave very nice background and context for some key characters and events in the main story line.

I liked this novella it concluded everything and gave extra content.

For the first time maybe ever, it didn't matter if I looked beautiful or not. I felt it. It’s funny to think that, all those years ago when first novel to the series, The Selection was announced I had no idea I would end up so consumed by this series. Truthfully I had no idea I would even like it slightly based on how it was marketed as a mix between The Hunger Games and The Bachelor. I mean… come on. I was intrigued, though, and that alone sparked just enough curiosity in me to pick up that first book. I’ve been hooked ever since. And years later, fans like me have been treated to an expansion of the series and now a brand spanking new (and absolutely stunning) hardcover companion novel. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m feeling positively spoiled! Kiera Cass has an incredible talent and a colorful way of expressing her characters emotions. In writing so simple, she conveys complexities of emotions and the turmoil of love that is trying and unexpected. It’s easy to get invested in the lives of her characters and their world of intrigue, glamour, royalty and danger. Continued @ BOOKEDJ.

I closed my eyes and nodded, the tears falling on my cheeks. With his love or without it, either way I was inwiting death.
