I usually love Harlen Coben, but this book was not my favorite by any stretch of the imagination. I saw that it had a lot of 5 star reviews and I love the author so I put it at the top of my TBR list. You know the expression, "Show, don't tell?" Well, this book told and told and told with very little action or showing. And I just didn't care after awhile. No redeeming characters and not an interesting story and way too many wooden characters.
Win is one of the most interesting characters in fiction and I am pleased to finally get a story from his viewpoint. I hope we get more and I would love to revist the entire Myron series in his point of view. Perhaps that should have been the plan to begin with. This book was long overdue and if you are a fan of Myron, this is a must read. The series had gotten a bit flat but this gives it a must needed jolt.
